I love new running socks....well any new running stuff really. I picked up two new pairs on Saturday and took one pair out for a GREAT 10km run on Sunday. It was yet another beautiful Fall day though I will be happy when the city picks up the leaves that everyone has pushed onto the sidewalks and street. Overall I liked the DriFit ones but they will be my 10km and under socks as I know for sure they will give me blisters: Mine are pink....hopefully the husband will stay away from them in the communal sock drawer:

These tights also somehow made it into the overall purchase:
(I hope my hips and thighs don't look quite this big in them...)Amidst the craziness of the weekend - family and friends dinners, spin and weights, running, tracking our coaches at Ironman - we also got out H1N1 shot yesterday. There was a lot of discussion on this and I was still a bit nervous about it but went ahead and got it. It was only a 5 min wait even though there were quite a few people there. I feel fine today except for a sore arm - a really sore arm actually.
I'm not a wuss I swear.

Communal sock drawer?? My hubby wears a size 13, there is no way we could share socks!! But pink is a great way to keep him away.
I LOVE LOVE tights! Good purchase.
YAY for new socks/tights.
Hope your arm feels better soon!
Oh these sound great. I really need something for my constantly aching feet. I think mine are general aches from chasing our kids around all day and probably cheap shoes. I have been so glad that I found my Topricin foot cream since it helps so much for them...actually - I have to use their pain cream too for all my aches. I know I just need to get back in shape too. It's a vicious cycle :)
Hey, found your blog and love reading up on your journey! Look forward to hearing more!
Love pink socks...yeah!
EVERYONE I know who's gotten the H1N1 shot has had a really sore arm for over a week. One of the weird effects. I'm still debating whether or not I should even bother to get the shot.
I love getting new exercise gear, always instill a bit of new motivation/enthusiasm. :)
Odd...my arm didn't even hurt the day I got the H1N1...not even the seasonal bothered me this year (it has in the past). But I have heard from others that their arms were quite tender for a few days. Ice and painkillers!
I LOVE buying new running gear...I may not run fast, but dang it, I look GOOD!
:)
