Yesterday was a yucky day - rained all day, cold, windy etc.. but I was still stoked to get out even if it was a Zone3 run. I changed my Garmin around to be able to display the current pace I am running at instead of the average but I still have to get used to this as I was all over the place last night. I have to be careful about dropping into the "inbetween" zones as they are really junk mile training. Overall it was a great 60 min run and I am happy I am not too sorry this morning..especially since I got back after the run, stretched, got home and wolfed down some food and then worked for 3 hrs on a work emergency. I really have to get my butt to the gym...but ... yeah....I'll go in a minute or so....
The run was made even more fun as my Bondi Band order came in yesterday. I love these things and I wasn't sure how they would actually look on me. They didn't more around when I ran and will actually be good post run for times when we go out to breakfast post run and I want to at least attempt to pretty it up a bit.

Post run, the band was pretty gross - kind of like bathing suit material but better the sweat is on the fabric and not me. Good thing I liked it as I got more than one:

The third one actually has sparkly sequins on it. Sparkly - I am all over that...

I love Bondi Bands! Glad you are enjoying them!
Yay! I love Bondi Bands! I throw them in the washer with my running clothes (but not the dryer)
Cute bondi bands! I need to get some - love the idea of packing a clean one to throw on for post-run brunch or drinks.
I need one (or three or four) of those! I like their hat with the pony tail hole.
I'm so impressed that you monitor your speeds for each run. I'm slow (although I think I'm getting faster) and so usually during the week I run for a specified time. My long run is distance based, not time (a la Marathoning for Mortals).
And oh, how I wish I knew where my Garmin was!
H =)
i've never heard of them but they are really cute. i have bangs and they always annoy me when I run so maybe I'll pick some up.
OH NEAT HEADBANDS!!!
I wish I had a Garmin *she sighs wistfully*
Thanks again Laura for your sweet package thinking of us on our run, i am truly touched!
No Bondi Band for me! But glad you like em!
Where do you get a bondi band? Sounds awesome! :) And way to get out there and run in the yuck. It's so hard sometimes but worth it in the end!
Those are really cool Bondi Bands, I've never heard of them but they are really fun and sooo pretty! Nice job on the run and sticking it out in crap weather. I dread this time of year where it's always a mystery what we get to endure for each run...but it does make it a little interesting, huh???
Happy weekend!
You look super cute with the Bondi Band on!
I've been wanting something kind of like that, but wasn't sure what they were called. Thanks for the review!
cute bondis! post more pics as you try each of them out. :-)
Bondi Bands eh?
Hmm... I wear at hat every time I workout for sweat absorption purposes. I may just have to check these out! :)
