1. Tomorrow is my Bday. (and a day off!) Woop Woop! It was another year filled with love, laughter, tears, stress, family, friends, running, playing, working and life in general..and I loved it all. I am grateful for what I have, what I can give others and for everything I have learned.
2. The hubs is taking me out on Friday night to my fav restaurant. I have plans to decimate the freshly baked bread to carb up for Sunday’s 35km run. He will have to get his own. Since it is Easter, there won’t be many people around so a friend and I are going out early and then looping back to meet with the rest of the group in the hopes of finishing the run with the half group. Strength in numbers people….
3. Last year’s bday involved cupcakes and wine:
Nothing wrong with that. Should the same happen this year, it will be a great post Sunday run treat as we are having the family over for dinner. I should be great company post run so wine and sugar may be the answer.
4. My inner run geek was out in full force on Monday watching the Boston Marathon – me with my laptop in our lunchroom. My coworkers have no idea what to make of me anymore. It was so awesome to watch…except for the 2 announcers…they were seriously irritating. Congrats to everyone who raced…I have LOVED reading your race reports!
Happy LONG WEEKEND! Let’s hope to see the sunshine and get rid of this forsaking wind …the wind blown look on me is not a good one.

I was definitely geeking out on Monday too. I was there spectating last year, so it was fun to actually recognize parts of the course. And what an EPIC race this year. I loved it :)
