I had lots of opportunities this weekend to have some great pics to post in an effort to keep this little blog interesting.
And forget to take any pics including:
- the hubs and I gussied up for a Christmas party Friday night…and where we also were made fun of for leaving at 9:45pm as we had to be up to train early Sat morning. Geriatrics we are…
- the epic cross training/bootcamp we did on Saturday – all legs. My calves still hurt.
- the gluten free cookies and banana choc chip muffins I made.
- the 15km run yesterday that while good weather wise considering it is December was still pretty cold at 7:20am when I started.
- my friend who did her run in her Santa Suit and brought some joy into our hood.
- the great brunch our run group had yesterday post run.
So….here’s a pic of our Christmas tree…that’s all you get peeps.

9:45 is late!!! By the time you got home and got ready for bed, it was probably 10:30 or later
Totally feel ya on the early departure time. I skipped a party entirely b/c it wasn't starting until (gasp) 8:00! So sad.
It's HARD to remember to take pictures of everything!
Tree looks great, though! Sounds like a fab weekend.
I had a similarly photogenic weekend, but I'm terrible about pictures when I'm not in a constant hurry. Your tree is very pretty! :^)
THe Christmas tree pic is good! Glad you enjoyed the elephant fiasco!
i'm bad about photos for the blog too.. but sometimes, i'll be honest, some people OVER-DO it.. like I don't need to see a photo of a turkey sandwich, ya know?
But now that you've blogged it, I demand a re-do for the santa suit runner!
oooh- your tree is so pretty!
I find myself taking more and more pictures with my phone because I'm always forgetting the camera. Though I'm not sure my camera is THAT much better than my phone at this point now that I think about it.
Sounds like you had a great weekend!
Too funny-- I actually had somewhat of a picture fail weekend too. And I know how you feel about leaving early due to a training run. My non-running friends will just never quite understand, but at least you went to the party for a bit!
Well, it's one fantastic tree so all's not a fail :).
Hope you have a great Christmas, Laura! Been great watching your 2011 journey and I look forward to what 2012 holds for you!
My phone on my camera is a stroke of genius! We always forget the camera when we need it, but one of us usually have our phone. Have a great week!
